JIKA was formed in 2007 and is comprised of fifteen members all of whom are from the  Motherwell Township in Nelson Mandela Bay. This is a proudly South African dance group which became fully established in 2008. It has been nurtured and supported by the Motherwell Arts Culture Organisation (MACO).

Mission
JIKA’s mission is the production of high quality dance entertainment aimed at creating happiness and joy for all.

Vision
JIKA would like to be dance ambassadors - representing our beautiful country South Africa, throughout the whole world.
JIKA has been involved in the following projects:
•    Iron Man Project
•    Uitenhage Competition
•    MACO Flee Market
•    MACO Spotlight
•    Vulindlela Project
•    Red Location Museum Opening
