Dancers - All

This talented group of young hip hop dancers have a number of  half-hour sets of highly-polished, energetic performances.

They took part in the Vuzu Rhythm Dance Competition which was featured on DSTV and have hosted a number of dance workshops throughout the province.

“The group is passionate about giving back to the community,” says manager, Godfrey Stanley. “We often go and set up some sound on a street corner in the Northern Areas and we teach the local kids some dance moves. We hope to try to instil a passion for dance in them to keep them off the streets and out of gangs.”

DeJaVu’s main choreographer, Meryl Stanely was also asked to choreograph four dances for SA pop group, Jamali for their latest tour.
For those wanting to learn some of DeJaVu’s creative dance moves, the group runs a hip hop dance studio in Port Elizabeth’s Northern Areas. Contact Godfrey Stanley for more information: 083 490 7292.

DeJaVu have also recently won the Clash of the Dance Crew Competition which took place in Grahamstown on October 16, 2010.
De Ja Vu is available to dance for corporate or private functions and will tailor their performances to suit each event.

Members of DeJaVu include Eben Dirkse, Meryl Stanley, Carol-Ann Stanley, Erin Cupido and Adrian May
