Comedy lovers are invited to “laugh so hard that no more sound comes out, and your tummy muscles are in stitches” when three “comic geniuses” join forces for the first time bring “The Insanity League” to Port Elizabeth and East London public this March.

The Insanity League – “a sketch comedy show like no other” - was born on the afternoon of the January 23, 2012 on Ben Voss’s KwaZulu-Natal veranda.
Making up the trio are Aaron McIlroy (crazed purveyor of The Loser, The Golfer, DOF, Unplucked, @ Work and other solo block-busters); with Green and Black Mamba stars, Ben Voss (Beauty Ramapelepele), and John van de Ruit, actor-author of the international best-selling Spud books and the smash hit movie of the same title.

Fathered by Voss, Aaron McIlroy and John van de Ruit, (but mothered by nobody), the league began “as a caffeine inspired statement of intent to create a sketch comedy show that would stun audiences and careen between the comedic poles of sheer genius and rank stupidity,” says McIlroy.

For those who would go crazy without a mega dose of local comedy, the dates to diarise are Tuesday, March 5 till Saturday, March 9, 2013 at The Boardwalk’s Vodacom Amphitheatre in Port Elizabeth.

The Insanity League will move onto entertaining the East London public on Tuesday, March 12 till Saturday, March 16 at The Guild Theatre.

The shows will start at seven thirty in the evening with ticket prices of only R120.00 every night except Tuesday, March 5 at The Boardwalk and Tuesday, March 12 at The Guild Theatre being only R65.00 per person.

Tickets can be purchased from www.computicket.com for the Port Elizabeth shows and from The Guild Theatre on 0437430704/5 for the East London shows.
