Singer / Songwriters - Female Vocals

My passion for music started at the age of 8, when I was the only one able to sing a choral piece sung by the seniors for a schools competition – I was made to sing it for every school we visited on tour.
At 15 I joined my very first band in New Brighton Township, in Port Elizabeth – after being caught out renditioning Paradise Road.
In 2004 a friend introduced me to the legendary Stompi Mavi – he immediately fell in love with my voice, and this was the beginning of an intimate musical relationship that lasted until he passed away.
It was during this time that my music and industry prowess started to sharpen – and, after his death, I decided to register my own company – Nosisi & Kiki Entertainment, entertaining in corporate events, weddings, and clubs – sharing a stage with the likes of Siphokazi, Thandiswa, Ringo, Ntando, and many big South African acts.
In 2008 I came to Johannesburg as a freelance musician, working closely with the likes of Lawrence Matshiza, Victor Ntoni, Abigail Khubeka, Afro Tenors, and Sechaba.
Currently,  I am busy with my recording project – I have so far laid down 3 tracks, and I am hoping to release it in December. I travel to the Eastern Cape often, and am very willing to travel for gigs.

  • 2007 – In this year, I was involved in a project called – Jazz Against Crime – directed by Musa Mavundla in East London and Port Elizabeth, as part of an ensemble featuring greats like Mc Coy Mrubata, Feya Faku, etc..
  • In 2008 – I was honored to be working with the legendary Miss Abigail Kubeka as her backing singer at the Joy of Jazz Festival
  • In the same year, I was part of Victor Ntoni’ s Ensemble – for an event commissioned by Andile Ngcaba’ s Dimension Data – A Tribute to Johnny Dyani.
  • 2009 – it was once again an honor to back Abigail Kubeka at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival – sharing the stage with big international artists.
  • I was also part of the 40/40 Celebrations in Swaziland – Commemorating 40 years of independence for that country, and celebrating the 40th birthday of King Moswati – with Afro – Tenors and Italo of Swaziland
